the crap that I don't like that Mullen is doing. 9 years of goodwill that he built up and going to throw it away for me by doing this crap. And before you tell me he is just doing his job, tell me why he didn't go after any of Florida's commits when he came here. And Bumphis doesn't count. He wasn't committed to them. I'll tell you why....Urban would have told him to get his ass out of Florida if he had. Simple as that. To me this is shitty as hell.

Mississippi State's recruiting class, ranked 15th in the county, is going to have to hold off a challenge from its former coach.
Former wide receivers coach Billy Gonzales, announced Tuesday as having taken the same position with Dan Mullen at Florida, spent the day in Mississippi targeting Callaway wide receiver Malik Heath and Hinds Community College wide receiver Stephen Guidry.
?Now I feel like I?m all the way back at my ninth grade year when they first started recruiting me," Heath said. "All the schools started offering me then and I don?t know what?s going to happen now since Dan Mullen left."

Mullen called Heath Monday evening and told him his offer still stood with Florida and for Heath that meant a lot. Florida has always been a dream school for Heath even before Mullen was hired as the head coach. With the addition of Mullen, Heath said it's starting to feel like it was meant to be.
There is still a possibility Heath stays with State. He says if that's going to happen he needs to have a close connection with more than one coach. He also needs to know that the new head coach has a system that will play to his strengths.
Right now though he knows that's what he'll have at Florida and the possibility of playing with Guidry at Florida is an exciting one for Heath. Both are four-star prospects according to the 247 Sports Composite, and Guidry is considered the No. 1 JUCO receiver in the country. With wide receiver a major weakness on the 2017 roster, both players are critical to the overall success of this recruiting class.

?They are the top dog right now," Heath said. "The way Coach G (Gonzales) came down here to talk, that was important. It?s somewhere I would commit to. Florida has always been a top school of mine. When they first offered me I was so shocked I didn?t know my talent was good enough to go to Florida because so many great people have come out of Florida. That?s always been one of my dream schools.?
Like Gonzales, offensive line coach John Hevesy has left Mississippi State to take the same position at Florida. He was also in Mississippi, specifically in Greenwood with offensive tackle Kwatrivous Johnson. But Johnson indicated he remains a Bulldog.
The first decommitment post-Mullen was 2019 three-star quarterback Jalon Jones. He said Sunday following Mullen's departure he would make a decision after speaking to his family. That decision meant reopening his recruitment.
