I have a question about past head coaches. Didn’t Sherrill try to bolt to Bama after ‘99, or was that all rumor? I know it’s kind of off topic.

It seems like Jackie tried to go there when they hired Mike Dubose. I don't remember if he tried again in 99 or 2000.

Appears to be Pruitt and Moorhead. Moorhead would be a huge risk. I still can't see him here.

Seems Grantham hasn't left town. Wondering if Moorhead is going to be offered the job and because his son is on the Starkville football team Grantham may be willing to hang around to be the DC for the coming year which would give Moorhead someone who knows recruiting in the South. Figure is a 5% chance but interesting thought.

I was wondering if that might be why he hasn't been announced as going to UF. Seems like his family actually likes Starkville so that might help us out.

If he came here with assurances from Dan that he would be here through his kids being in High School, he could be pissed at Dan for lying to him too.
Keeping that D staff - who are our main recruiters - intact would be a coup for Moorhead.
