To make Luke appear as a legitimate HC compared to the rest of the league.

Because its the SEC and even that salary is laughable in today's market.

Money buys silence.

But seriously, it could be something as petty as making sure we pay more for our coach. If we go with someone like Satterfield (sp?), who is making about $450k, we could get away with paying him $2mil. This way, whoever we grab will automatically have a salary in that range because you know damn well we won't pay less than a school crippled by sanctions.

Ross Bjork said there was dialogue with eight candidates during the past few weeks.

What equals "dialogue"

Ross: Hey, Pruitt this is Bdork

Pruitt: 17 no

Ross: Ok, call me if you change your mind

Coach 34, what do you know about, (being reported), that Vitter made the HC announcement at OM and Bjork was not in the room???

Because he beat MSU.. they are idiots..

He knows several things that make his continued service invaluable. 1) He knows where all the bones are buried for the last 10 years, maybe more. 2) He knows the "Program" backward and forward. 3) He successfully put a bounty on Nick Fitzgerald's head almost guaranteeing a Rebel win, thus won the Egg Bowl.

Who’s the pic from? It looks like a book report form a 7th grader. Did he make copies of the bullet points so he could show everyone?

Money laundering to continue the recruiting slush fund and keep AJ happy.

Luke is actually paid 750k. The rest goes into another account.

ANSWER: to insure his silence and cooperation in the future with the Network, which is still alive and kicking and will be a lot more cautious and more vicious in the future now that they have been stung once. i really want to see who all got caught up in this sweep, like maybe ah-chee? nobody needs to kid themselves, the Landfish and their "Network" will be more toxic than ever before. if the ncaa does not shut them down, it is going to be dodge city in college sports from here on out. this is how free-school lawyers do and they are nothing if not entitled free-school lawyers with their captured clients....

They could have been talking about saving money on car insurance, or why you need a new cap .........credit card. Dialogue is a vague word in this situation. It would have sounded better to say a discussion, meeting, etc. Nothing to see here. I guess they fired all their lawyers lol

I think it's because the players rallied around him. They desperately needed that.

Heard that several players made it known they would transfer and sit out if Luke wasn't made HC.

The inmates running the asylum at Ole Miss? Imagine that.

Not that they could have done a lot better anyway.
