No that was configured after SS left. In SS's last year CDM worked under a contract with no extension. Cohen came in and extended ******* contract with no buy-out, because Keenum was not real happy with a 5-7 record in 2016. This allowed Mullen to recruit, telling guys he would be there for their career. It also allowed MSU to fire Mullen and not owe him a big buyout.
