My reasons:
1) You can see the guy's coaching ability with what he did at UNA.
2) His record now is indicative of sanctions. People said Kiffin wasn't a good coach either because of what happened at USC. FART.
3) He's a MS guy, and he understands how to recruit this state.
4) He knows Mullen's offense and how to win with a typical college dual threat QB.
5) 2010 was probably Mullen's best coaching to date, considering the players we had. Guess who was the OC?
6) He can very likely take the returning team and get the same output Mullen would have gotten.
7) He could be gotten immediately, for cheaper, thus more money to spend on assistants.
8) He has recruiting inroads in the state of Louisiana, a MUST for MSU.
