The COI had a nice holiday. Lots of turkey and dressing. Got plenty tired of company and were happy to get back to work today, although they would never say that at home.

Most of their morning has been spent having coffee and moving from office to office discussing who fried and who roasted. Someone had Ham and that took a while to get straight in everyone's thinking. Someone had Chinese and it will take them days to move past that culinary aberration.

They also spent a bit of time speculating how much money the company made over the holidays.

There is an envelop on the Chairman's desk that everyone glances at as they pass by or stop to visit. No one really wants to bring it up because - well you know.

They have sent a minion out to buy more money for the postage machine because they discovered they spent all of their postage last week on Happy Thanksgiving cards sent out to member schools' Athletic Departments, Presidents and a few key Boosters. No one thought and planned ahead to hold back the postage cost for a (heavy) priority mailing with return receipt requested.

The package will be gone (disappeared just like black magic) from his desk tomorrow morning. No one will really know if it was sent today or tomorrow and no one will be brave enough to ask. All in all it won't matter much. They are just curious committee members. The Chairman's secretary is the kind of person you wouldn't want to ask such a forward (none of your business) question.

I figure Wednesday. The weather will be nice, with sunshine and no chance of rain. What better day could there possibly be for an execution?
