Just saw on ESPN that Schiano already out. Apparently there were too many protests.

A defensive coach fits MSU well. Easy to recruit to that side of the ball in MS. Coached in a difficult situation at Rutgers and built them up. Pro experience. He is obviously my top choice. No idea if he would be interested.

So right this minute he must be totally out of a job. Presumably he'd already told Ohio State that he was leaving.

Would Schiano at MSU mean Grantham stayed???

With a signed memo, I would think UT is liable for any and all loss wages due to them backing out. If terms we're established on the memo, I would think someone at UT is picking up that amount for the next year. Correct me if I am wrong internet lawyers.

Why would grantham stay then?

What a cluster....UTK is writing the book on how to decimate a once proud program, one hire at a time.

I don’t know why he wouldn’t, unless Schiano took over the DC duties.

No thanks. I’ll pass on the Sandusky enabler.

Not reporting the rape of a child to authorities is a big deal, not saying he is guilty but the stink is on him....not a legitimate candidate

Maybe he told Tenn to go stuff them selves when he hears MSU job just came open.

I’ll pass on the Sandusky enabler. Hell you want to bring in Briles to be his OC?

Read the linked article ... if it's right, all the media were wrong about his knowledge. I wouldn't want him either under the conditions you stated, but it at least needs to be checked out.

yup, it's "hearsay"... not saying it's incorrect, though....

Schiano is at the top of my NO list, for more than just the Penn St. stuff.

Don't know if I'll buy tickets if we hired him.

I like what a couple of the commentators said. This was just an excuse because they don?t like him as a coach.

Just means that we will have one more competitor in the coach seeking business again.
