Come on now, at least understand the mess he inherited from Ellis Johnson and increased his wins total year to a 9 win season his 3rd year. If you want to question if it was him of Chip Lindsey, I can understand that but to get to 9 wins after Johnsons 0-12 year and only having 55-60 scholarship players his first year, you have to put his overall record in context.

ETA. I'm not that big on him but at least look into the why's of someone's record.

Bill Clark.

I think he's a good coach and what he has done at UAB is remarkable. But I don't think he would be a good fit for MSU. Having heard him speak, he kind of reminds me of the kind of guy that Larry Templeton would hire. He seems like an aw shucks nice guy that wouldn't bring the swagger that we need. I'm not sure that he could recruit well for us either.
