I'm not giving up on Mullen until the ink is on the paper but if it happens, Grantham immediately gets wealthier and Mike Leach is the first person that has to tell me 'no'.

Sure it is. He won with walk-on QBs and 2-star WRs at Texas Tech and Washington State.

I actually wouldn't mind it. The talking heads discuss him all the time. He'd definitely elevate the national visibility of the program.

Keep an eye on Geoff Collins.
That was Loafers man for MSU as the Miami courtship was unfolding.
Except for baseball, Cohen will glance at Loafers playbook as he is going through "on the job" training.

We have Grantham at DC. I do not want a defensive HC. So no Venables.

Precisely. Hold on to grantham and go find an offensive HC. No Venerables, and god no Geoff Collins.
Seriously, Collins took over a 10 win Temple team and they went 6-6. Am I missing something? Literally one subpar year of coaching experience. If Cohen hires Collins I'll be livid.

I'd like Kiffin too, but i dont think he would come to a town like Starkville. While most of us love it, it's probably not high on his "wanna live there" list. We need stability, not someone to come in for a few years and leave.

Bill Clark at UAB would be a very solid hire.

Wrong, all 3 of those win a lot more than they lose, especially Leach.
