Not true. He has had games before where he missed throws and made bad decisions before this one. In those games Bama just ran it instead and pulled it out. We took the run from them, but gave Hurts his outlet throws to Ridley time and again.

I don't think they played ridley one on one - i think they doubled him all night. Granted I'm not sure two of our guys combined could have covered him b/c AJ whipped double coverage on his second TD

This all day. As I said the week of Bama, hurts throws more than 50% of his passes at Ridley, especially under duress. You play bump and run on him and help with a safety. Our defense was good enough to do this and still stop the run. We showed auburn Who to stop and you shut down Alabama.

I?d say we matched against Bama well enough to win. We just forgot that in big games you can?t let the opponents best player beat you. You make someone else beat you. Auburn took away best player #3 and we let him look like a PlayStation game running around uncovered and no bump coverage. Fairly simple and it was stated two weeks ago in the thread on how to beat Bama. Our front is as good as anyone so you must take 3 out of contest schematically. Ridley is Jalens blankey.
