Now we know Kelly to UCLA and it looks like Frost to Nebraska may be a foregone conclusion. I think Taggart goes to UF or maybe Strong. Norvell likely to Upig. What happens at aTm, UM and UT? UM may end up with fat ass. Some UT fans still clinging to Gruden. Going to be interesting on how it all shakes out.

At some point, at least one school is going to get drastically desperate and reach and overpay badly for someone.

Let's see how the Iron Bowl plays out. I'd like to see how Mahlzahn to Arkansas plays out.

profile coaches out there for everyone to get who they may really want. UM is one of the lesser jobs out there. Can't believe Veneables and Morris haven't popped up as serious candidates yet.

I think Strong ends up at UF - and that may have been Spurrier?s plan all along. Bring in big names with no shot, make Foley and Strick look helpless, and secure a job for one of his loyal guys.

I actually think Strong at UF will do a good job.

UT is not getting a top flight coach. Sorry, but their program is not in a good spot to hire a great coach.

An Arkansas friend of mine swears Malzahn to UPig.

Kiffin back in the SEC somewhere or Nebraska. I'd love to see him in Auburn

A lot of people point to his tenure at Texas as evidence of failure, but I’m not sold that that’s failure. He was great at Louisville. I think Texas is just a coaching graveyard because the big bellies there want to run things, and they are not professional coaches and don’t know how. So, they handcuff the coach and make winning hard. Sorta like Jerry Jones.

The days of UT as a power are dunzo.

UT needs to go down to Memphis and get their coach. Gatorland is a dumpster fire. Whoever is their coach is going to have to clean it up. Still waiting to see what Aggieland does tonite.

today, and they certainly have a chance, he's not going anywhere. He may not if they lose. It's simply a lesser job.

It definitely is, but he is on the hot seat every year at AU. Might be worth going home to less stress.

Does anyone know if Bee-York hired Taggert at WKU?

They were there at the same time.

Luke at OM is my best guess

If the penalties at OM turn out to be what they should be then Luke will be the coach there.

I see Scott Frost and Malzahn as the two coaches at Auburn and A&M. Malzahn gets first choice and Frost will take the other.
Then, Charlie Strong ends up at Florida. He is the only decent candidate that could get the support of the former coach, former AD, current AD and alumni.
Tennessee ends up in a fight with Arkansas for Norvell. I think Arkansas wins.
If so, Tennessee ends up with Venables. His defense helped beat Alabama.
Sumlin may end up at Nebraska.
That is all of the major openings.

After the way that egg bowl played out, OM will Retain Luke. He embodies everything they are about and will be happy to work with the network.

I’m guessing Arkansas fired Long and Beliema to make way for Malzahn. They are rolling the dice Auburn becomes toxic with a loss today. If Malzahn doesn’t play out, I look for Arkansas to hire retread. Pelini etc.

Frost to Nebraska
UT will hire Norvell
UF. Strong.

Jimbo is staying at FSU

One thing I forgot to add to my Strong to UF prediction - Steve Spurrier, Jr. will be OC

Another name I'm not hearing in the OM search that I figured we would is Gunter Brewer.

OM needs to throw the bank at Norvell. It’s their best chance for a decent coach. Either that, or keep chubby.

There are so many ties between OM and UofMem because of the city of Memphis. I don’t see The power brokers at Memphis allowing OM to poach their coach.

Who knows except Bjork and Luke, but I would think until they get the sanctions, Bjork hasn't told him anything

You and I both know that Bjork isn't making one single decision that matters up there.

Derhntr on sps had a good point about hiring Luke. The NCAA would have to take that as a sign OM has no plan on changing by hiring a guy that has been with om all throughout the timeframe of the violations.

That could be true, and the excuse they give him.

But sanctions won't be added to if they fire him after they get them
