Mullen told the players literally a week or two ago that he would be back and not let them get out of their summer workouts or whatever it was.
The Tenn job was open then. It's not like it just came open in the last day or so.
He's been more vocal about staying at State than he ever has and he's done so WHILE the Tenn job has been vacant.
So why would his mind change now?
He's told the media AND his players he's staying. Has Dan ever given us a reason to think he's a liar?
Anyway, it just doesn't make any sense when he's known for a month that Tennessee is looking for a coach all the while being so vocal about being happy at State.
