I know Hack already posted but I Don’t care if it’s a double post. I own this place, too and I want it burned into everyone’s memory.

I really hoped I was just over reacting in the moment and under the influence, but sadly I think that was intentional or had bad intentions of some kind at the very least.

It was his right ankle that got hurt.

watch the clip. After aiming for the left leg, he rolled on the right-- making it twice as intentional!

guys, I'm as frustrated as anyone else but it's his right ankle that was dislocated, not the left

You need to watch the video from the north end zone. That was a cheap shot, dove right at his legs with the intent to take 7 out of the game.

It was definitely intentional. I don’t know that he meant to do what he did, but it was definitely a low blow. They did the same to Dak in 2014 if you remember, and flipped him.

They did the exact same attempt on key or one of the receivers, I think it was one of his long runs and as he was going out of bounds and the player jumped at his legs and tried to roll on his ankles. It was not freak accident they were either instructed to do so or decided as a team they were just gonna be dirty.

Even if he hit his left ankle he still dove at his ankles in the intent to injury Fitz

Yeah, that kept happening. Between that and what they did to Dak after the whistle in 2014, you know damn well that they?re doing it intentionally.

Should be a new name for them.... The dirty cheating bastards. They cheat in recruiting and play dirty on the field. The lowest denominator of any college football team.

Threads like this hurt the credibility of our fan base when we complain about legitimate issues.

Fitz's injury was on a clean play & hit.

You done celebrating the win last night? That was as intentional as can be. Hell the guy had two PF called and thrown out of the game. Grow up? You need to watch the damn play. Those players were targeting us all night

I thought like you but there a couple of clips going around that show it was a dirty shot. They were trying to hurt Him. Tackle high then dive at his ankles.

You can’t look at still shots on a tackle. Football is a fast game. In real time, it’s a clean hit. Just unfortunate, nothing else

It was dirty man. It?s the oldest trick in the book. It was an absolutely classic example of how to take a player out of the game. I agree in that situation it?s a legal hit, but it was done with the intent to injure. I?ve spent a lot of time around football if you want to take a player out, that?s how it is done.

Joe Theismann's injury as well as Treadwell's injury is "just part of footbal." This was a tackle to intentionally injure a player. You don't fully sprint and use full downward force at a player's ankles

Yes it is. I’ve worked hundreds of football games and that was a debilitate attempt to injure an opponent. It’s a football play and not against the rules but it’s a bush league play from a bush league organization.

Going at a player's ankle area with the crown of your helmet is not a clean hit, whether is real time or whatever. It's like one player had Fitz wrapped up and then the other comes in with the crown of his helmet toward Fitz's ankle to injure and/or put him out of the game.

Wasn't really eventual ... happened with less than 5 minutes played in the game as I recall. Almost the entire game was left to play.

Has Dan or any of the coaching staff had anything to say about the hit, or is that verboten like criticizing officiating? I saw Dan and Luke talking while Fitz was being attended to but the conversation didn't seem to be confrontational.
