What I'm excited about with this team is the presence of Holman and Ado are altering a lot of shots close to the basket. Throw in the additional size and muscle of Datcher and Herard and may have one of the strongest low-post groups in the SEC on the defensive end.

And Lil 'Spoon plays quality man-D when he's guarding his guy. I'm really loving this kid.

I think this team will take a few lumps but I think they are going to be WAY improved!!

Yes, it was a great win. Playing without Stapleton and Peters, facing adversity, starting out ice cold from 3 again, I think we grew up a lot in the game. Found out we can get to the rim and finish. Found out we can play tight d without fouling. Found out if we can stop turning it over a shitton and the benefit we get. Found out Nick is the man. Found out Tyson doesn’t have to score only from 3. Found out our post play is night n day from last year. And Q is still Q finally. And Holman is a badass. And Datcher gives us lots of positives despite what I read on message boards about him, as long as he gets his minutes before foul trouble. Found out after 3 college games Ado is the real deal. And we should be happy Eli is on the team, his d can be outstanding and he can put the ball in the hole. And we have some really good passers on this team. And Howland said we will play 9 or 10 deep all year. When have we had this quality depth before? Especially in the post.

If you can’t tell I’m getting excited about this team. By far, Howland best team yet for us. I hope the Hump gets back to the Hump of old. This team and coaches deserve it! Great times will be there to be had this year in the Hump!!

There's a lot of interchangeable pieces that allows us to match up better than we have in the past. And if we ever have a game when our outside guys get hot at the same time, we can cause a lot of teams trouble. This is definitely gonna be a fun season.
