So an Ole Miss fan and MSU fan are talking coaching vacancies at church Sunday. I'm not in the conversation, but I overhear it.


Ole Miss fan: Some Ole Miss fans want us to hire Lane Kiffin.

MSU fan: That would be an okay hire for y'all.

Ole Miss fan: Yeah, but I'm not sure I want a guy like Lane Kiffin being the face of our program.

MSU fan: You just had Hugh Freeze as the face of your program. So why are you worried about Lane Kiffin?

Ole Miss fan: Hugh is being framed. Hugh did nothing wrong. Hugh is a good man. Hugh is honest. Hugh doesn't cheat. The NCAA found nothing. We are innocent. Hugh is a great husband. It's Dan Mullen's fault. It's Leo Lewis's fault. Hugh walks on water....................

I think it's been pointed out before but just in case, now you can understand how Hitler.came to power in Germany. The ones that blindly believed in him wouldn't give up until all the reasonable people gave up or moved.

He came to power over much more than blind belief. Many more circumstances lead to that tragedy of mass ignorance.

Om, on the other hand is a much shallower situation. They saw a recruiting ranking and a few manufactured public messages on the heels of being embarrassed by us by Mullen.


They Loved Freeze because he was there and who the network promoted. Quasimodo could have done the same thing and they would have loved him too. They miss the situation, not the person.
