Soccer team lost to Texas AM 8-0 Friday night. Isn't that about like a football team losing 100 to 0 ??

Technically, yes; however, women's soccer tends to be a little different in regard to talent. The difference in talent is so large between us and A&M, for instance, because Mississippi has very few soccer schools. Nobody to develop talent or showcase it. Colleges in states like Florida and Texas can handpick their teams. We are stuck with their leftovers and some international players. I know this wasn't in the statement but I'm just explaining why there's such a disparity there.
