Dan "the QB Whisperer" needs to work on making Fitz a pocket passes in the off-season not these last three games. He is so much better throwing on the move. I've also said before that taking Fitz out of the read option to straight QB runs kills our offense. I certainly don't understand when we put him under center, takes his legs out of the play. JMO.

It’s great that they have been calling the holds on Arkansas. I think the SEC realizes it’s better for us to keep winning so we keep teams like Georgia, Auburn, and Alabama in the playoff picture. Dan "the QB Whisperer" needs to work on making Fitz a pocket passes in the off-season not these last three games. He is so much better throwing on the move. I've also said before that taking Fitz out of the read option to straight QB runs kills our offense. I certainly don't understand when we put him under center, takes his legs out of the play. JMO.

It’s great that they have been calling the holds on Arkansas. I think the SEC realizes it’s better for us to keep winning so we keep teams like Georgia, Auburn, and Alabama in the playoff picture. Fitz has a lot to work on this offseason.

To me the two biggest things wrong with Fitz are 1) no touch on the ball 2) He thinks too much. He is better when he just goes. When he has to think he gets in trouble. He looks to be overthinking things at times. I don't think he will ever be a great passer in the pocket because I f both of those things.

Thinking too much is a result of lack of confidence in his ability to make the throw. He can get better at that by continuing to work and work harder. Touch will be harder to improve, but Dak improved a ton in that area over his career, so Fitz will have the same opportunity. Like Dak in his senior offseason, Fitz is graduating this semester and will have that much more time to work with Mullen on becoming a complete QB, so I'm optimistic he's due for a big leap next year.
