The real question is : if there were proof of such, would the NCAA/sec/ESPN allow the decimation of a program like that knowing what it would mean financially to the conference?

Hate aside, it seems more than they would care to admit was happening und their nose.

5) In a good deed, the land is sold and the Institute Of Victory for Women Of the Night (IVWON) reopened in Oxford on what used to be the campus of the University of Mississippi.

It would explain some things - like why the Nutt case settled and why the press hasn’t dug into it.
I think the NCAA has realized that when real criminal activities are taking place it is in their best interest to turn it over to the FBI. That shields them from screwing it up, allows coaches, schools and admins to be punished appropriately and justice to be done. You can’t convince me that the NCAA had no idea the basketball investigation was going on, and I would bet they turned plenty of things over in the OM case.

That's a legit concern that's never mentioned. How the hell have they let this crap go on for decades? It's absurd. They knew about it and did nothing.

NCAA can't punish Ole Miss for "hookers for players" because evidence was found that hookers were open to all students***

What financial impact to the conference? OM could be replaced on-demand with a phone call to Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, Norman, or Raleigh.

Current OM fans would just buy LSU, Bama, or Tennessee hats at Wal-Mart and life would go On.

No impact whatsoever

I?m afraid it would not be that simple. Also it would hurt us more than you know. I love the Scarlett letter on their chest. And I love more that they are the ones who branded themselves. But it?s better if they are still around.
