People used to say you had to be a top 10 recruiter to win a national championship but Clemson proved that wrong. You probably need a Deshaun Watson or a Dak Prescott to go along with the top 15 recruiting but with Mullen's reputation for coaching quarterbacks I don't think this will be a problem.

Jake Wimberly is a Jim Rome wannabe shock jock who just wants to say things to keep his show relevant and edgy. He thinks he is being rational and reasonable but he’s not. He’s just parroting what other mouth breathers are saying. What he doesn’t realize is that he would do far better by actually being his own man.

Winning NC is about being good consistently and then getting lucky. It will never be in the financial interest of networks, the NCAA, or SEC for us to win big because of our comparably small fanbase. So we will have to kick the door down. We have to go undefeated and outplay other teams and the refs. But we can and will do it. Mullen has us on the right track.

I think the school administration needs to do something to address all the negative bias by the liberal slanted sports press. This would include the cable networks. The rhetoric has reached a new level of irresponsibility and it should be dealt with.
