Disappointed AL state missing their leading scorer and Houston. I know they are not good, but I wanted them to push us as much as they can

Watching this game, the thing that jumps out to me is that we appear to be pretty deep. Playing without Ado and Feazell and still seem to have a deep bench.

Datcher has played well. We have really shot FTs well tonight. Something like 80%. CBB still calls everything a foul. It's so terrible.

He’ll get better. He just needs to stop thinking so much and make sure he is fully stopped when he sets his screens. He’s so big that if he just keeps his arms straight up he can bother shots. He just needs minutes and needs to continue to work on his post moves. Has a ton of potential.

If Holman can play like he did tonight, he can really compliment Ado down low.

So can we all agree that we might not be awful now that we've played a real game we were actually trying to win?

No. It?s been unwatchable since they stopped calling it like the should have in the early 80s

I was talking about Holman complimenting Ado. Holman complimenting Ado does nothing to help us win games. Because that is what the poster I quoted mentioned.

Telling Ado he has a nice haircut, nice shoes, or is a good cook does nothing. Now if Holman could complement Ado down low, it could certainly help us. But complimenting him is really useless.

OK, so we have a spelling nazi on board. You could have used some sarcasterisks but I suppose that would have ruined the fun.

BYW, I appreciate the humor...I'm obviously to 8 up with the basketball...

They don't suck. They do foul too much but college basketball and the refs are really to blame for this. The big guys for us down low get called for everything. You don't see fouls called in big games with ranked teams like you do see getting called in our games. It's very frustrating. Datcher had his best game ever for us last night. He was 9-9 on free throws.

Herard and Datcher will both be very good players...besides the way games are being called as 61 said, they both need time and experience to develop their footwork. Holman struggled in his first two years just the same and he is really coming on now. The difference is in the footwork. Holman did some "McHale like" drop steps last night and has put on a general clinic the last two games. Quite impressive!

You don't have to look any further than what the SEC teams did in the tournament last year as opposed to how they looked during regular season play. I read somewhere that at one point last year, the SEC averaged 9 more fouls a game than any other D1 conference all in the name of creating more offense. Someone in the SEC office needs to wake up!

When Ado gets healthy someone is going to have their minutes cut and right now the best bet is Herard. On another note, I really like the way Eli Wright is playing this year. And I love that Howland started Nick. Holman can play the 4 and the 5 for us so him stepping up his game is huge.

I doubt we cut the rotation any time soon. Our schedule is soft, so might as well let everyone play

When Ado gets back Herard minutes will likely be cut. No need to play 3 Centers unless foul trouble or blowout.

The refs are ruining the game with the new made up rules. I didn't see anything egregious last night. I thought we did well.
