Something that's been bothering me about our offense

Why when our runners (whether its Fitz or AW) get stood up by the defense, do none of our linemen push them from behind to get that extra yard. I see so many teams doing this since the rule was passed a year or so ago that it was legal. We never do this. I see so many 300 pound men in maroon standing around waiting on the whistle to be blown while our runners are driven back.

You can get your running back hurt. He's being pushed by both directions. It use to be a penalty but that changed. I have heard that the NCAA is going to revisit the rule.

I bet that's a Mullen rule not to aid the RB b/c you might get him hurt trying to get an extra yard.

There have been multiple times this year where our lineman or our receivers have pushed the pile when someone is stood up. I don't think you see it as much with Fitz and Aeris because both are very good at breaking tackles.

I've seen Jordan Thomas do it some. And it worked.
