See article below: Despite their money, they have second tier facilities, an impossible to please Emeritus AD, fans who constantly complain and a meddling former coach who criticizes the coach to the press. They fired a coach who won his division in his only two years in the job. None of the above landmines have gone away.

Coaching candidate walks into the room expecting to be interviewed by Stricklin. Also sitting in the room are Foley and Spurrier. Foley asks the first question and Spurrier the second. Stricklin just looks down at his loafers.

Coaching candidate says "Screw this." And he leaves.

Spot on. A horribly toxic environment to coach in.

Keep in mind - they hated Meyer, and really hated Dan. If I recall correctly, they started a FireDanMullen.com sometime after having won their first NC. Those people are crazy.

I cannot imagine Scott Frost going there and he is the fans first choice. Other than Frost, who is an offensive guru of enough stature for them to want. Kiffin?
