Could it break the record set against Auburn in 2014?

Hard to believe it's been two years, but last year's schedule was full of 11:00 games with Auburn and A&M being the only two big games.

I'm surprised the LSU game didn't sell out this year, but I always forget that for whatever reason LSU always returns a ton a tickets as their fans avoid Starkville like the plague.

It was really close..... only about 700 tickets away. And you're right they always do that, but the BAMMERS will be there in full force on Saturday.

They sure will. A majority of them live in Columbus.

Not enough demand. Too many seats.

Reduce the student section (sections 16&17).

Replace bleachers with chairbacks in lower levels. Whatever that reduces capacity too, don't care, call it 60k capacity. Nobody will count the seats.

It could come close but I doubt it breaks the record

Yet, they will go to Oxford. Makes no sense.

I'd buy chairbacks there.

They're in the trailer parks all over MS.

Oxfords proximity to the Memphis airport and Memphis/Desoto county hotels helps them tremendously.

Go to every trailer park in Jackson and George County and you will always find two things. A working Meth Lab and a Bama flag on every door and vehicle.

There is great wisdom here! That is not only funny, it is also spot on.

Good point. Hadn't thought about how much easier to get a hotel within reasonable distance from campus.
