This is why Dan wouldn't win an SEC title at an elite school. He sucks at the emotional/psychological part of preparing a team to play ... especially when they are having an off week, practicing lethargic, not into it, etc. Bear Bryant was constantly monitoring his teams' mental state and working to keep his teams motivated. Saban is a master at it.
