11 am games should be moved to 1:30 cbs game moved to 4:30 then have true night cap games around 7. 11 am games kill atmosphere and crowds. Hell the JP game used to start at 11:30

It's not the time slot. It's crappy fans who won't show up 7 weeks a year.

There was a thread a few days ago asking if state is committed enough to win a championship. For the fans, the answer is no. The student section should lose at least 1/3 of their seating next year. They don't deserve the allotment when they don't show up. And if they are there they leave at half.

It needed to be loud the entire game. They had the ball with a chance to win with 5 minutes left.

My family was there with all 8 season ticket seats filled. Nobody cares about watching us play UMass especially at 11A.M., but blame Tulane for causing this last minute scheduling of them. My 80 year old dawg Mom was laughing yesterday about getting the "call" from Dan to show up at the game. He must have not called our players because they didn't show up at all the first half****. The students need some of their allotment of tickets pulled for not showing up at all.

Don't worry it will be packed next Sat. and I fully expect many obnoxious bama fans to be seated all around us in the lower deck of Section 4 from all our "fans" who sell their tickets for a big profit or worse, bring them to this game. It always been that way in years past and I hope I am proved wrong this year. Hail State!

It’s funny because the same people that complain about the football team not showing up for this game will be the same people who sit at home because “it’s too early”, “too far to drive”, “boring opponent”. If you have season show the **** up for the game or give your tix to someone who will.

Don’t be a ****ing *****.

It's not the time slot. If we'd been playing Auburn or OM it would have been a sellout.

It's a "want-to" problem.

Yeah make them mothers start paying 375.00 plus 150.00 for a season ticket. Which I don't understand why we have had three home games with low turn out. There has to be people who have not made the last three games. If you are not going to use them give them up for other can improve their seating.

Yeah the crowd did step up towards the end of the game. When Mullen lost his mind on the UMass coach we had some ready to rush the field and start breaking knees. Got really bad when the UMass players started flipping our fans off and taunting them when abrams got ejected.

This is the 2nd or 3rd game this year to KO at 11 and the student section is 80% empty. Something needs to be done about this. They are spoiled with the success the football teamhas had. I was a student during the Croom Era. That was abysmal, but we showed up.

I find that hard to believe. Not that it was announced but we actually had 57K. East side upper deck was empty and the student section looked very slim. The West side upper deck looked ok.

That number probably includes tickets sold Jack, not necessarily butts in the seats, I'm guessing. I got that # from the box score on the Hail State site.

That's exactly what it is. We use the paid attendance number, like everyone else in the SEC. But when it comes to actual butts in the seats, I'd guess we had maybe 35-40k there. Student section was empty, upper decks fairly empty and lots of patchy spots, especially on the West side, from what I could see.

Well it’s their loss. The 4th quarter was great and those that were there were loud. It was much better than a blowout.

The past two games my son laugh when they announce the winners of the two who got to up grade their tickets to lower level. So son looked at me and said we could up grade right now if we wanted to.

Youth gun season opened yesterday. Your kid is dying to go. "No, son (or daughter). I've been shamed into going to an 1100am "blackout" game today. If I don't our fan cards will be revoked." Maybe they can go next week instead of going to the Alabama game*

Meh. I have to go the secondary route. I'm glad there are some available. I wish Ole Miss would continue to lose so the prices come down.

I agree with Bo Bounds on some things and this is one of them. Ticket prices, especially between the 30yls, are outrageous. Had to give up on season tickets last season.

If you never got a feeling of us being in trouble then you are too confident especially with the way our team was playing.

I just went back and looked. We punted the ball with 6:56 left in the fourth quarter. They had it and were down 4 and had been moving the ball on us the entire day. The defense stepped up and made them punt, and we returned it for a TD pretty much icing the game. I was at the game too, and there was a sense of dread when we went 3 and out.
