You don’t but I’d rather have the guy considering State than not. He might just want to hone his craft and experience college life for a few years.

You can't but all these guys have to sign with someone & sometimes..... they make it to campus for unforeseen reasons.

You simply never know when a kid will have a bad SR year, have a freak injury, feel disrespected by the industry, etc. .....

The key is the coaching staff understanding the draft risk of the player & recruiting other players to take his place.

The rewards are if you sign 8-10 of these types of guys & 2 of them make it to campus, then you may have your Friday night starter & 3 hole hitter for 3 years.

Could not have said it better. We can't just sign non signable talent and expect to win a National Championship.
