This guy should be mentioned more for tenn and Florida imo. He?s only 37, but he has experience... he was 35-15 at Toledo in 4+ seasons. At Toledo, he won 9 games 3 of his 4 years and won his division his last 2 years. After going 3-9 in his first year at Iowa State, he is 6-2 this season with 2 wins over top 5 teams. If i were running the Florida or tenn coaching search, I interview this guy

Good catch. Yeah, someone needs to snatch him up. It wouldn’t surprise me if Petrino gets a call at Tennessee with his buy out now non existent.

I mentioned him somewhere- can't remember which board after he beat Oklahoma. And now he has beaten TCU. I think he would be the best head coaching candidate as well but he's not as sexy as a Gruden.

We will see. Iowa State will ante up to try to keep him. If the Big 12 schools had SEC money, I would say he will stay.

As I have said other places, Florida may be toxic now anyway. They fired a coach who won the division in his only two full years.
