Anyone know when this will be established?

It will be known today.

There is a rumor on TOB that it will be at 11:00 due to CBS having a double header

That would mean ESPN picks Ark/LSU or FL/SC over our game. Seems unlikely.

CBS picks first. It's going to be us at 11 AM & UGA-Auburn at 230. It's not the Crimson Broadcasting System for no reason. They pick us & Bama, that leaves them with the Iron Bowl for Bama's 5th appearance. Works out perfectly for them.

I thought that when it was a CBS double header that CBS picked 1st and 3rd? Should land us the night game.

I'll die a little bit on the inside if we have to play Bama at 11AM.

CBS does not get the first 2 picks. They get the first and the 3rd pick.

$&it on a stick. 11am kick would Really screw up my day.

edit because y'all answered my question.

I like our chances for a 6pm kick though. You know cbs is going to take AUB/UGA first pick.

Good to know. After looking at the schedule that day, we're almost certain to be either the 230 CBS or ESPN night game.

This was my thinking too... Two ranked SEC teams playing in the 11 AM slot just didn't compute. Thanks Dan. :)

Another interesting thing. Looking at the schedule for that week you have Miami/ND and okie state at ISU. Could we be on the radar for game day?

I would think Miami/ND gets GameDay if nothing changes. If one of those teams loses in the interim, you'd have to think we have a good shot.

CBS invoking the 2 week window. They'll decide after Saturday's game. If Auburn beats A&M I'm pretty sure Auburn/UGA will be the 2:30 game. So let's root for Auburn this week.

Dan - Are you going to Florida? If you do, will you still post on ED?

Thanks.

We need Auburn to lose for bowl seeding purposes. 2:30 CBS would be just as good a crowd and it would mean we are the #1 game of the week and moved up the bowl order.

I would say both UGA and Auburn would have to lose this week for that not to be the CBS game

I'll be fine either way. If aub loses they prob lose to uga and tide too. If we go 9-3, worse case citrus bowl with ny6 possible if we finish top 12 in playoff rankings.

If Auburn loses, the A&M probably ends up at 9-3 (6-2) and with us at 9-3 (5-3) would possibly jump us in the bowl pecking order. Maybe they would get a NY6 bowl and leave the Citrus open for us though.

Hope you're right. We don't seem to play all that well on CBS, and that would be even more pronounced against their favorite son, Alabama.

MDL, please don't allow it to be an 11am game, regardless of the opposition.
