Snitk did a good job last year. But he is isn't going to get them past where they are at now. JG would be a great hire; heck maybe even bring holder with him.

I would hire Girardi in a second without thinking twice. Snit suuuuuuuuuucks. But Girardi is legitimately one of the best managers in the game. That said, it's a pipedream. He won't be unemployed long enough for us to hire him. And there's no way we're going to renege on Snit at this point. Plus we don't have a GM in place and no manager in his right mind would come in without knowing who his boss is.

I wish all you youngsters would learn about the 80's and 90's "Braves Way" - The Braves are going back to that now. No way they bring in outsiders. Girardi could not be a worse fit for the Braves.

With Roy Clark and Brian Bridges in place the GM needs to be a Braves guy like Dayton Moore.

He can bring back JJ Picollo (who may be ready to be a GM by now, I don't know) and Rene Francisco (who seemed to be clean in Latin America all those years)

Would love to see Chino back and maybe he could steal Mike Toomey too.

They might have a GM in place, but MLB hates for announcements being made during the WS.

Girardi hit the two run triple of Maddux in game six and may have had a couple more big RBI that series. Braves had plenty of opportunities in spite of the "ump in the way" play, but that was a pretty damn big play. Whoever called for wohlers to throw the slider to leyritz should receive more blame for the series than the ump. He was never gonna hit the fastball...never...damn I hate Jim leyritz
