View Full Version : What The Hell Does This Quote by Bjork Mean?

From the CL......

"We have to recruit and recruit and recruit. And you have to have the chops for that in the SEC. This is not for the faint of heart from a recruiting perspective," Bjork said. "So obviously, we have to be dialed in there or have the staff that can do that."

So, business as usual if the new staff can't get it done? Weird choice of words

Dear Mr. Bdork,
That's how all of this shit started in the first place.

Yours truly,

It means they aren't going to stop cheating. That should surprise no one.

He most likely means that recruiters have to be aggressive, but from the quote he could mean most anything.

You just never get a sense that the coaches and administrators aren’t in charge there.

That?s the first thing Saban had to change at Bama. He had to regain control of the program from the boosters

The coaches at OM always seem to be in fear of the boosters. Why else do you think Shea went back in the game the other night?

It?s a terrible business model and one that has no chance of sustaining success.

They simply have ZERO idea how to build a program the right way. It doesn?t even register.

I took as a jab at the current staff, can't recruit. So he'll find some1 who can, or try.
I guess 17 year old children getting their peckers played with by whores is not for the faint of heart.

It's not directed at the current staff. Hell 2 of them are facing show causes and the interim HC was damn sure aware of ALL that went on.

They know how to recruit at OM for sure

Please tell me you don't believe that.

He only had, what, 5+ years to leave a situation he "didn't like"? If that's the case....Hugh "didn't like" hookers either.

It's called denial. It's a stage of grief.

It's just like Hitler commanding armies that didn't exist while the Americans and Russians surrounded Berlin. It was over but he was hanging onto a shred of hope.

That's the biggest thing I get out of that. But we already knew that.

Yep. Dead man walking can fling crap against the wall all day.

The conclusion any logical person comes to is of course that the only way they can't pay players to play for their little team is not have a team to pay players to play for. I still would not be surprised if the DP is already in play. It's the only way and the NCAA knows. If you don't kill it, the Network will. Not. Stop. Ever.

If they intend to keep cheating in the same manner they have been, then no decent coach or AD in his right mind is going to come anywhere near their program after one or two more cycles. They didn't just get caught because they were sloppy. It's just much harder to get away with large scale cheating than it was in the past due to social media and increasingly massive media coverage of recruiting. If they continue to recruit in the same way going foward, they will continue to get caught, HC and AD will be fired, rinse and repeat. No one who thinks he has a future in college athletics is going to take a job that might last 4-5 years tops and end with a black mark on his resume.

If they continue on the path that they have been on there will be no program for a year.

Well they better start getting aggressive because their class looks like shit right now and the December signing date is closing fast.

Right now they have two offensive players committed. Whats going to happen if they get second year bowl banned and everyone leaves?

They will have a walk on team. They might as well self impose a one year DP. If they can do that in lieu of all of the long term penalties they would be better off.
