Tend to agree that it's closer than ever before, outside of 98/99. One missing piece that wasn't discussed is that we have a decent juco system to pull from to plug holes and fill depth. That's a huge advantage some years where we would've otherwise been very thin in spots.

Excellent article! We need to take advantage of the highly rated 2019 class and I agree that we are in position to do so. I'm not sure what the 2020 class looks like for Mississippi yet but hopefully it will be at the very least 2018 caliber.

What we need to do to take the next step all comes down to recruiting and making sure that we have quality at every position group going forward.
