I just thought Les was retarded...

"We did everything to win the South Carolina game except score touchdowns."

10 quarters without a TD. It's going to be over at the half Saturday.

Rumor is picking up, Memphis Coach is next in Knoxville.

Hahahahahahaha! He didn't really say that did he? Poor Butch, he's a life champion for sure now.

Similar to what golfers might say. 'I played well enough to win, just couldn't get the ball in the hole'. Sounds dumb on the surface, but you know what they mean.

This will devastate Finbaum and his agenda to get Mullen out of Starkville.

Over at the half?! It'll be over in the first 5 minutes after Bama scores its first TD. The AL scout team will probably get a good workout on Saturday. I don't think UT could score a TD against a junior high squad.

Heard today Butch calls 100% of the plays and has been advised by some staff members to "Let it go."

The half? I think it can be 28-0 by the end of the 1st qtr.

They should have went after the previous Memphis coach before he got away to Va Tech!

This game is over before Butch and company get on the bus in Knoxville. If Butch was smart he would just play all his backups so his starters don't get hurt for his "winnable" games*********

Hahahahahahaha! He didn't really say that did he? Poor Butch, he's a life champion for sure now.

No he actually said "I thought we did all the things that it takes to play winning football except for one element, and we spoke about it after the game, and that's score touchdowns in the redzone. We had to kick field goals."

The guy who paraphrased kinda looks like an ass in my opinion. Knew exactly what he was doing when he tweeted it.

Mullen would be taking a pay-cut to go to Tennessee.

Gums may not score on first play from scrimmage but I'd bet they score a TD before they hey get a FD!

And be going to a worse program.

Since 2010:
Tennessee has won 49 games, 19 SEC wins, had 3 winning seasons, went to 4 bowls, had two seasons with 4 or more SEC wins, and only had 2 seasons where they won 8 or more games.

State has won 62 games, 26 SEC wins, had 6 winning seasons, went to 7 straight bowl games, had five season with 4 or more SEC wins, and won 8 or more games five times. And that was done in the SEC West.

State > Tennessee

Ain't that some shit?

The head coaching position at Mississippi is better than the same position at the University of Tennessee. We've come a long way under Mullen.

Absolutely! We are now considered in the upper half of the SEC and its been well earned.

Bothers you too, huh? That's probably one of, if not the, most common grammatical errors, at least in this part of the country. Playing golf, I'll bet I hear "It should have went in" 50 times in a round. I even hear it from supposedly educated people (a couple of my golf buddies are ex-teachers).

Someone needs to send an anonymous letter to UTK administrators to disclose that all Mullen's success is due to a dude named John Hevesy. This shadowy figure was the true developer of Dak, Tebow, Aaron Hernandez, Pouncey twins, and many other key "Mullen" players. Let's get Hev promoted and out of Starkville
