Mimi, I'm not sure that's solid confirmation. They poster looks suspicious to me. As I just posted on SPS, "Can you imagine an OM fan having a PhD from Duke in Theoretical Astrophysics? I can't really .... In fact, based on limited internet research, Duke doesn't even offer an astrophysics degree (but they do offer a PhD in Physics). How does Twitter go about "confirming" (might as well use the word again) a person is really who they say they are so they can give a blue check?

You have to send them a bunch of shit confirming who you are including having a website and you have to explain to them why you deserve a checkmark. Oh you also have to be a public figure/famous or media member. It's annoying and petty. Twitter deems the rest of us peasants unworthy.
