The Hound. Fresh pork skins that are still popping when they get to the table. They also used to have a wild sausage sampler that included kangaroo, wild boar, and elk or buffalo I think

We went to a baseball series over there a couple of years ago and ate at The Hound, Niffer's, The Draft House, and Halftime. The Hound seems to be their most popular restaurant downtown and it was nice, had a great bar and the food was good. My guess is that it is packed on game day. Niffer's is a little ways away from downtown and was a pretty cool place. There was a lot of memorabilia in there, the food was good and the beer was cold. The Draft House is downtown and had a great beer selection and a decent burger. Halftime was a sports bar and really nothing special.
I've never been to a football game but I'm sure any place in downtown Auburn will be packed and there will be a long wait.

The original Mama Goldberg's is in Auburn adjacent to campus. It's a sandwich place, but iconic to Auburn people. Good sandwiches.
