Gives us a 53% chance to win, but we are a underdog?

Simple. If you factor in recruiting ranking then we don't belong on the same field with Georgia. But when you actually look at the strength of the teams that we have beaten versus who they've beaten and statistics we should win the game.

Vegas picks a line based on what they feel will split the public money.

Where do you look up FPI matchups? IS that an ESPN metric? Or somewhere else?

And how does it do picking straight up and against the spread?

Go here, then click the link for the team you're interested in. It'll take you to their team page which lists their schedule and win probability for the remaining games:

It is an ESPN metric, and it does okay at picking, but not one of the top models. Over the long run though, nobody beats the vegas' closing line.

There is a website that tracks results of models over multiple years and the only consistent top performer is the vegas closing line.
