For years people have filled the Clemson board with rumors of Swinney to Alabama or some other job. He is not going to leave Clemson because he has built a program, has solid support of the administration and is loved by the fan base. Sound familiar. Even last year, with a losing season, we were no calling for Mullen's head. He has built a program and will continue. The days of him seriously looking at another school are over. And for those who worry about the NFL, I am sure he would talk to his good friend who left Oregon to go that route. Mullen will be at State another decade.
