He's young. Holds the ball too long bc he doesn't know the offense that well but it concerns me that he didn't throw it on 3rd and goal. Dude was open off the ball

He sure is poised for a freshman. Might be hard to hang onto him though with Dak starting the next 2 years and what we have coming in. But maybe we will.

I don't think so Dawgface. In our offense with Dak, he is sure to get banged up a little throughout his career. It will be nice to have a guy that is damn near identical that we can bring in and not skip a beat. He has a cannon, and if he improves as he should..will provide competition and at very least should be a really good backup for us

I'm pleased with Williams. He is somewhat indecisive in the pocket but I think that is just from being a true freshman.

I liked his video coming out of high school and I liked the fact that he led his team to an undefeated season in Louisiana's highest class of football. I thought he was a great pick-up. He just needs some experience more than anything. To me, it looked like he made a lot of mental mistakes at times- Dan had to call a time out because of some confusion with the play one time, and he cut back inside on an option read and looked confused.
