Strakville has 25K and BR Metro has 802K. Based on those numbers who is doing a better job getting seats filled?

Agree. It's a dumb argument. Same for Tennessee.

MSU is the most geographically isolated SEC school.

Same goes for LSU baseball.

What we do at Dudy Noble Field is way more impressive than what Alex Box is due to local population.

Btw, LSU returned 2,500 of their 5,000 ticket alottment. That would never happen with Alabama or Auburn and should tell you about how much they hate the inconvenience of traveling.

They also don't have an in state SEC rival to compete with. If Mississippi only had one SEC team we would probably seat 85-100K as well.

If MSU were located near Jackson, we'd have an 80,000 seat stadium and Dudy Noble Field would put Alex Box to shame on a game to game basis

No doubt. It would be a 100k and more than likely multiple national championships.

Sounds like they're overcompensating for something.

Our stadium is small. They were born and raised in this country, and I still need subtitles to understand them. Everybody has strengths and weaknesses.

Wut?

According to wiki (I know I know), the greater BR area has 830k to make up the second most populous area in Louisiana

The actual city of BR has like 230k

Just kick their LSU Tigah balls in, rape Ole Miss at the year's end, and don't bother talkin' or typin' at all.

It's there.

Our stadium seats more than the population of the town and the university combined. Does theirs?

Obviously no but they would probably get 150k+ for big games if there was such a stadium. LSU has a big fan base and not everyone can go to the big games due to pricing and seat availability.

That said, I never thought I'd see the day where it would be plausible to bowl in the entirety of Davis Wade. Speaks to the current state of the program and the leadership. Damn proud of our direction. Gotta capitalize

True dat... Heck, TTown is way smaller than BR, and there were an estimated 250k (total) on campus for TGOTC 2011.... on Thursday...

Yall've made exponential improvement in gameday experience, IMO...

Well I'd say Arkansas is just as isolated, more regionally.

But a helluva lot more population - 83k in the city proper with 491k in their metro area. Third largest metro in Arkansas.

Between the Northwest Ark population and Ft Smith, Arkansas has about 750K people within 1 hour of campus.
