Is there "court of appeals" the NCAA has? Is there a different body that the appeals process would go through?

I blv the flagship would be smart to let it be when the hammer falls

The NCAA has an appeals committee.

I hope they appeal and drag this thing out. I would also, if I were the NCAA, not allow unused scholarships during the appeal count towards the total.

Appealing doesn't delay penalties. They go into effect as soon as announced.

Appeals process.

Doesn't appear to be a slam dunk that an individual or institution requesting will get one.

An appeal seems redundant to me. What new info would OM have to present that they didn't have for the COI meeting?

Ole Miss appeals to white supremacists.

It's just an appeal on the severity of penalties, correct? Not an appeal on what they are or are not found responsible for or am I wrong?

OM is scared of the term appeal. Sounds too much like "a peel". Could set off panic.
