Mississippi State linebacker Leo Lewis made an appearance and gave testimony to the committee as part of Mississippi’s hearing to answer for 21 alleged NCAA violations, multiple sources told Yahoo Sports. Lewis was not seen publicly either entering or exiting the ballroom at the Embassy Suites here, site of the hearing, but sources confirmed that he did appear.

Or the COI changed their mind and allowed him to be interviewed via Skype. I could see them allowing this after the date, time, and location for the hearing was leaked. People forget they're primary goal is protecting student athletes, not persecuting and publicly shaming them.

I'd think that a ballroom has several entrances. There's probably even at least one directly from the kitchen so events can be served. It's quite possible came and went through a non-public entrance.
