Was wondering if anything definate has come out regarding if he will play or not this week

It would be prudent to assume that he will and that he will line up opposite Stewart Reese.

Key has abused our shitty OL for as long as I can remember. Against far better players than Reese. We're going to have to leave a TE in to block. We don't have a RB that can handle it. This is why I think LSU beats us, along with our craptastic kicking game. Hopefully I'm wrong, but if not, the demands for Hevesys head should get really loud.

Currently Key and his backup are out. But Key could play, and probably will. Also LSU's kicking game is total crap as well. They trotted out 3 different kickers last week and were 1/3.

I hope so. I have never been the type to want key players to miss. If I beat them I want it to be at full strength.

I wanna win. I couldn't care less if they're at full speed or not

He will play, and it won't matter.

There is noway LSU can handle this offense this year.

This game will be decided by our defense's ability to stop Darrius Guice.

Our offense will score...eventually. Our defense just can't get trucked by LSU and our offense and ST can't give them easy scores. #NeverFGalwaysGoForIt

Our offense will score 28+ points.

Well, he's listed as doubtful. Even if he plays he won't be 100%, and probably won't be in football shape to play a high number of snaps.

Got a feeling he's going to look like Myles Garret did against us last year

You may be right Coach. We will be the first team so far with the talent to punch them in the mouth out of the gate. It will be interesting to see how Coach O reacts if we go up 14-0 in the first quarter.

An article on the Advocate this morning says Key will be playing, per Ed Orgeron. http://www.theadvocate.com/baton_rouge/sports/lsu/article_70c9c1c6-9717-11e7-928b-83fb53e960af.html

Buckle up, Stewart Reese.

Yep and he didn't play that much. I think we are getting a 70-80% Key for this game which IMO is a good thing for us. It wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't go all out to save himself for the draft. I didn't realize they had so many players injured this early in the season. Doesn't bode well for them having a great season this year IMO.

I doubt he'll be 100%. Coach O needs him for this game.

He's not even in shape and is 20 or so pounds overweight (Key that is). I bet he only plays a half or so.

Sounds like either O is head faking Mullen or he thinks he needs all hands on deck for us.

First play he is in the game, I'd run right at him on the side of his hurt shoulder.

Find out if he's ready right off the bat

Rep for getting that expression correct.

Key was listed as being 238 last year & is now 265

Is it possible that he kept all his speed while against close to 30 lbs?

So, Key is maybe 75-80% and a little out of shape? How long does he last? A quarter and half before he's winded and that shoulder is throbbing?

No one will remember 2 months from now if LSU was at full strength or not. I hope their entire front 7 is out along with the QB and RB.

uhh. yes they will. Wouldn't you feel better about our team going forward if you knew we beat them at full strength rather than beating the hell outta of a depleted team and then having unrealistic expectations for the rest of the year. Do you not trust the capabilities of our team?
