10 tackles = 2nd on team (leader has 11)
2 TFL = 2nd on team (leader has 2.5)
2 sacks = team leader
2 forced fumbles = team leader

It's early and I know it wasn't great competition, but I'm getting close to saying he's about to finally live up to the hype

He has improved in addition to a coach with a gameplan on how to utilize his skills

Is it pronounced "Jerry" or "Gary", Green?
Thanks!

The only negative that I saw last night was that he was in the backfield several times where he looked to be waiting to see if the QB was going to keep it or hand off to the RB. It was weird because he literally stopped rushing and kept containment. The RB would take the ball and leave Gerri in the backfield. I would like to see him go at full speed and just wreck the play.

He looked fantastic. Our DL is for real.

I saw that too. I'm sure Grantham will point it out to him.

Isn't he the highly recruited guy out of the delta who had a bad injury his SR season?

Maybe it's my imagination but it seemed that we were tackling high against Tech and that's why their backs were getting a bunch of yards after contact. In the CSU game, we were tackling low and bringing them down quickly. If this is the case, Grantham needs to get after some guys.

If the RB is to his side he's probably playing QB. I dont blame Grantham for making LA Tech run it into the middle against the bunch we have

Green always fell into the category of "looks like Tarzan but plays like Jane". But I've been impressed this year. He's showing out and being aggressive. Been a real key to our defense.

Yep, he's from Greenville, played for St. Joe I think. I believe he wrecked his knee his Sr. year.
