Man, are yall watching the game on mute? They literally read the rule right out of the rule book after it happened. It doesn't have to be helmet to helmet to be targeting. Any forcful contact by launching head / shoulders upward into opponents head gear is targeting. You can hate the rule all you want, but the call was 100% correct.

No. They were on about the 5 about to score, and the snap went over the QB's head. Then instead of falling on the ball, everybody kept trying to pick it up and instead kept kicking it, and it wound up 90 yards down field. Then it was 3rd and goal, or 3rd and 95ish.

Edit: I think it was a bad snap. May've been a fumble. Result was the same.

Stidham is the wrong QB for that offense. Auburn is a lot Ole Miss with QB's. They just don't develop and have to grab transfers.

I'm assuming the 80 something yard loss was deducted from rushing yards. If there's one ugly spot tonight, it's they would've had over 200 yards rushing without that play. 152 rushing yards for la Tech
