Fletcher Adams, Jeffery Simmons, Kobe jones, tre brown, Montez sweat and Big Cory were all more than dominant. Add in hoyette and grant Harris and I think we have a very very good defensive front.

The front 7 including the backups is absolutely nasty. Glad we got a dc that can finally showcase that talent.

who woulda thought "Budda's Moonshine Distillery, Tire Repair & Internet Service" wouldn't be an approved disseminator of interwebs....?

It's never more clear just how talented a team like Bama is than when you have a player of Simmons' caliber on your own team and then realize that Bama has like 30 of him all over the field.

Nope but they do have a few with the same type of talent relative to their position. Payne is going to be a monster for them.

It was a bit of an exaggeration, Simmons is special. But even if he's a 1st round talent, Bama produces 2-3 of those per year, on average. So you'd think at any one time, they probably have 10-12+ of those on the roster. So either way, Simmons stands out when watching us play. He would be noticeable on Bama, but he wouldn't stand out in the same way.

Anyway, I didn't mean to knock us, it was just something I thought of when watching him play. It's not as easy to see the difference in talent until you get one of those guys yourself. But yes, I like a bunch of our young talent on defense right now, especially on the line.

You're right... Payne is a monster... However, I do believe Simmons would contribute this year as a RS FR... Guys like him don't grow on trees...

Simmons top 10-15 pick in the 2019 NFL draft , if not higher
