I got snowed in at the Silver Star that night. Won a pile of money but no rooms were available. Enough of the roads didn't thaw till about 10ish AM to get back to Starkville. It sucked. I heard slot machines in my head for a week.

I was there......almost killed both kids (frost bite) but wouldngpt change a thing.

I had tickets but was afraid I would get snowed in and I had to be at work so I couldn't risk it. What a game! Pork Chop was so huge!

One of the gutsiest performances by donate and a&m's back as well that night.

Was fun watching the snow storm move east into Jackson simultaneously too. Great way to kick off the new year.

Dontae was so good. Such a shame he pissed it away. Looks like he's got himself straightened out now.

I read an article on him a year or so ago. He's going around to schools and youth groups and talking to them about staying away from the streets, etc.. He weighs about 300 pounds now but seems like he has his life in order.

Yeah, that was about as cold as I've ever been at a football game, in Shreveport of all places. And just walking out of the stadium was an experience. And the roads weren't treated at all ... every man for himself.

That marlin kickoff when he whiffed has to be one of the most boneheaded plays ever. Sat the ball sideways on the ground and tried to kick it. Wish there would've been a game thread for that lol
