Freeze was far and away the best recruiter OM has had in the modern era. It's a shame he couldn't keep his pants zipped. It's a shame a few of the elite defensive players that had us in their top 2 or 3 didn't break our way. But if you think our problem is that he couldn't "be bothered" with recruiting, I don't know what to say.
