They won 52-24 over NW state yesterday. They got 497 yards and gave up 389. They have a guy at qb that most of us are familiar with in j'mar smith. Despite winning by 28, they still lost ATS... NW state must be terrible. ESPN FPI gives us an 86.7% chance of winning.

I really like this challenge for our defense coming off a shutout. If we can hold them to 17 or less, I'll feel pretty good about our D headed into lsu game.

We really need to clean it up on offense this week and I think we will.

This will be a good test for our defense. This is not the same LTech that was #2 in scoring and passing last year as that QB graduated but they will still be ranked top 10-15 in the nation in offense most likely. Skip Holtz squad has won 9 games 3 years in a row. This is the type of game that traditionally has given Mullen fits in the past but I think we win by 3+ TDs. I was nervous about LTech before I saw their QB that had over 4,000 passing yards and 40 passing tds last year is gone.

Their present QB is from Meridian that we let go. Not sure he got an offer, but if he did it was not commitable.

La Tech usually plays us tough. They're a good team so if we don't blow them out I won't panic.
