"I don't know if this will throw us into an NCAA investigation -- my senior year, I was getting money on the side," said Foster. "I really didn't have any money. I had to either pay the rent or buy some food. I remember the feeling of like, 'Man, be careful.' But there's nothing wrong with it. And you're not going to convince me that there is something wrong with it.

About time a big-name, current NFL player from a big-time college program admits he took money.

Somebody must have forgot to tell Foster that his scholly included room & board, meals, an education worth tens of thousands of dollars, and got him the opportunity to showcase his talents to the NFL.

If Arian feels that way, perhaps he should now share his NFL salary with the fans who bought tickets, that led to increased revenues, that led to better facilities, coaches, etc, that helped him make it to the NFL.

A question i've never seen answered - so athletes get any work-study hours where they get some money?

How well do Foster and DeVinner know each other?

They need to "decriminalize" the crime of improper benefits. You don't have to set up a full pay structure or anything, but just let these kids get what they can get and don't punish them for it.

Why would top notch recruits go to State when there is more money at almost every school in the SEC? The rules are in place to protect everyone else.
