I was told that the reason Southern Tailgating is now using the black tents is because a lot of his MSU logo tents would get stolen.

We ate at high noon under the black Alumni Assoc tent and it was almost unbearable (sorry to use a bear term!**). You could actually feel the heat descending from the top. Couldn't wait to finish eating and get in the sun and feel the breeze.

It was like a furnace under those black tents. 20 degrees hotter than standing outside. I mean I get it that ST colors are black but doesn't everyone know that black absorbs the heat. Pretty stupid.
