Here are a few things of note.

1. There was very little new info in the SB Nation article. While it may be news to you, it's not news to MSU, the NCAA or Ole Miss.

2. The NCAA had every bit of this information when it filed its answer to Ole Miss a few weeks back. They had the info and still doubled down behind Leo.

3. It is important to remember that this is not a he said, she said deal. The physical evidence including phone records support Leo's testimony. Leo also picked the boosters accused of giving him money out of a photo array. He described their vehicles down to make and color including the red hummer owned by the husband of one of the boosters charged. These things happened and Leo met these people.

4. Around the time Barney was put on leave, some claims were made about MSU's recruitment of Leo Lewis. The NCAA looked into those claims as they should have. They talked to Tony Hughes, Coach Calvin Green at Co-Lin and others. The claims against MSU were not supported.

5. Some would say, "Well, what if Leo said he got money from MSU?" That's a tough one, but I would answer, "Larmey Tunsil claimed he was given money by his coach on national TV, but that never made the notice of allegations."

6. There will be more water toting articles in the next two weeks as the Ole Miss apologists do their best to win the battle for public opinion. It won't change anything. The NCAA is about to take Ole Miss to task. All of the articles in the world won't change that.

What kind of dumb ass drives a red hummer to pay a kid off?

That's just plain arrogance almost the point of wanting to market yourself and the "power" of OM football.

It's moves and mis-steps like that that are the reasons like these guys got caught

I thought I read somewhere that red hummers compliment all the green foliage in The Grove, making it even more beautiful (even though we all acknowledge making it even more beautiful is not possible).

It's also part of the Forward Rebs Starter Kit - rule #4 is you must own a red vehicle, preferably an SUV.

The hummer is kind of like the old cheppelle show skit. "I have never seen Michael's alleged penis but I could probably describe it. A head, shaft, some balls.......red hummer.

appears at the NCAA meetings the UM legal team will shred him to pieces and the NCAA will find him to not be credible. However, you get crickets when you ask them about all the other violations.

TO ANY and ALL FOOLS/IDIOT Fans of OM...... Please note: This is NOT a court of law run by OM Judges, Lawyers, etc...
This is a forum of creditable people with Degrees/ education, coaches, administrators and plain common sense that far out ways any OM legal team.....

UNDERSTAND: There is NO cross examination..... PERIOD! This is not a deposition nor is it a court room...

So what does OM think they are going to accomplish... not a damn thing....

Oh, and by the way, Steve Robertson never tried to hide State being looked into over Leo's recruitment. He mentioned it sevaral times on the Boneyard. Whenever you say he tried to keep that buried, you're just lying, which runs par for the course for silly, dirty, little hillbilly university. You should probably call up Bracky for a master's class in compliance.

I seem to remember Hugh Freeze used the code words "Red Hummer" when arranging "dates" with escorts of a specific hair color. Did anyone else hear this****

And, I apologize in advance to all the ladies on the board for my sophomoric humor.

BTW, we know UM will not be allowed to cross examine Leo but can the NCAA ask him questions at this point? If they can't why does he even need to be there.
